The question of the diagnosis in Gestalt Therapy
- 14th,15th and 16th of november 2008
With Daan Van Baalen
The field theory, the concepts of creativ adjustment
and polarity, the focus on the process, invite
Gestalt therapists to settle fundamental questioning
on psychopathology and the place of the diagnosis.
The one who asks the question is part of the field;
it is the relation which is observed, not the
patient.
Daan Van Baalen is psychiatrist, born in the Netherlands.
He is founder member of the Norsk Institute of
Gestalt in Oslo, psychotherapist and international
trainer in Gestalt Therapy.
The global personality of the psychotherapist
- 5th, 6th and 7th of october 2009
With Ken Evans
The human personality is understood here as all
the means which a person has to organize the main
constituents of his life: his thought, his feelings,
his physical behavior and his spirituality.
All these dimensions of the human experiment are
interdependent and potentially available as essential
aspects of the « global Self » or
the presence of the therapist.
Ken Evans is British, chairman of the EAGT (European
Association of Gestalt Therapy) and founder of
the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy.
He is also Director of the Scarborough Institute
of Gestalt and has written several books.
